It’s not often you can go out and see a great band play - much less TWO great bands - without having to pay a cover charge. But you’ll have the chance to do just that at the Winneconne Community Arts Center (WCAC) on Friday, April 19 at 7 p.m. Well known Wisconsin-based bands, Copper Box and Sly Joe and the Smooth Operators will each take the stage to play a set of their own during this special event, with members of the Presidents and Winneconne High School Band slated to entertain concert-goers as well.
While tickets to the event will be complimentary, donations in the form of free will offerings will be gladly accepted in the lobby, with all proceeds from the event benefiting the school district’s music program.
“I’m very fortunate to have some incredibly talented students, friends, and family members who want to help raise money for our Winneconne music program. Bring some loose change you’d otherwise spend on a movie and instead enjoy some live entertainment that is guaranteed to leave you feeling better with an extra hop in your step.” -David Jerabek, Winneconne High School Band Director
